Website maintenance

Keep your website useful after launch.

Website maintenance for updates, fixes and planned improvements. Establish what is covered, who responds and how changes reach production safely.

Is this the right next step?

Maintenance becomes reactive when no one owns dependencies, failed forms or small content-related defects. We separate routine care from new development so priorities stay visible. Choose this when the site is live but updates and fixes lack a clear owner.

What the work can include.

The proposal defines the exact scope. These are the delivery areas we discuss.

An agreed baseline

A review of the current stack, access, backups and known issues before taking responsibility.

Controlled changes

Dependency and security updates, fixes and regression checks within the agreed maintenance scope.

A visible work queue

A shared view of requests, priorities, completed work and items that need a separate estimate.

Make the boundaries clear.

Support hours, response targets and emergency coverage are contractual choices. New features and third-party incidents are not silently treated as included work.

Built with the handover in mind.

You keep a record of changes and access ownership, with a documented exit or transfer process.

Questions before we start.

What should we bring to the first conversation?

Share the existing system, the people who use it and the outcome you want. Useful examples include a current URL, a workflow description and the integrations involved. Do not send credentials or confidential customer data.

How will the scope and price be agreed?

We review the requirements and dependencies, then define deliverables, assumptions and exclusions in a proposal. Provider costs and continuing support are identified separately.

BUILT ON COMMITMENT

Bring us the problem. We’ll work through the next step.

Share what exists today and what you want to change. We can discuss the scope, dependencies and a practical way forward.
